Having been performing with various orchestras for many years, Gwenllian now has extensive experience as an orchestral player. She was a member of the National Children’s Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for many years, where she performed with world-renowned conductors such as Tadaaki Otaka, Marin Alsop, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Sir Colin Davies and Sir Simon Rattle.

In 2009, Gwenllian attended the Aspen Music Festival and School in the USA where she performed with other students and professional musicians. Her tutors were Deborah Hoffman and Nancy Allen, and Gwenllian had the privilege of performing with both harpists in concerts with the Aspen Festival Orchestra and the Aspen Chamber Symphony.

Gwenllian was also principal harpist of the Sinfonia in the closing concert of Jazz Aspen with the seven-time Grammy award winner Al Jarreau. More recently, Gwenllian has performed with the CPO, CCSO, the Welsh Session Orchestra and the RWCMD Symphony Orchestra. She is also principal harpist for Sinfonia Cymru, and performed with Bryn Terfel on the UK tour of ‘Bad Boys’.
